Yankee - "My fight with Covid"
I thought Covid was something that could happened to everyone but me. The first week of January changed everything for me. My oxygen levels fell into the lower 70's, I quickly found I couldn't breathe. Betty called for the ambulance to take me to the emergency room at the VA Hospital.
They informed me that I may have to go on the ventilator, to which I said, "If it looks like I must, just send me home to die with my wife." My decision is not to recommend what others should or should not do. No, I have not taken the vaccine. Be careful in justifying or condemning those who disagree with your choices. My wife got Covid the same time and I did not know how bad she was doing. The same was to apply if I had a heart attack. No resuscitation. I knew that if I go, or if I stay, I am a winner either way. I know that I have Eternal Life and can rest in God's choice either way. What peace!

Mel Quin, Greg Stier, Jim Scudder, Tom Cucuzza, Betty and Eddie Arnold, Louie Hernandez and a thousand others lit up FaceBook pleas to pray for Yankee. I prayed to the Lord, "Lord, I don't need more time, unless you can use me." I believe that the Lord has blessed me because of all the fervent prayers of so many righteous saints. I was in ICU for about 13 days and Rehab for 9 days.
While I was struggling here in Tampa, I was informed that my brother, "Little Man", (Merle Arnold) also came down with Covid19. He came home from the hospital to hospice care at home. It looks like he will be with the Lord in several days. Pray for his wife Cheryl and daughter, Michelle in Athens, Georgia.

After several weeks I was allowed to go to Rehab at the VA. The VA has been very good to me. The Doctors and nurses were outstanding. There were about 12-15 that trusted the Lord from those in ICU, MICU, and REHAB. In every room, I told them that I would do everything they said, but I requested they only do one thing. That was for them to please visit my website and watch my 4 minute video on how to go to Heaven. They did!
Progress was hard work.
When they told me to walk so far down the hall, I asked to walk further. When I was told to work the machine I am sitting in for 15 minutes, I asked to do it for 30. When they told me to do it the next day for 30 minutes, I asked to do it for 45.
They were surprised when last Friday, when I was to be discharged, I was informed that I would not need oxygen tanks to go home. The picture shows me leaving without oxygen.

I MET SUSAN in rehab. The day I walked into the dining room, this new lady came in to eat. It was just her and I. I asked her if she knew she had Eternal Life and would go to Heaven. I was surprised when she gave me all the right answers.
The next night I found that she had trusted the Lord from my radio ministry in Tampa. I am on every weekday at 6pm on 910AM and 570AM. When I ask for financial support for the radio ministry, it's for all those Susans out there. Would you pray for souls like Susan by helping to support the radio ministry. There are many preachers on radio, but few make the gospel clear.
While Betty was having to face all the things going on, she was overcoming the Covid herself. My daughter, Trina was having issues of her own and couldn't come down. My son, Eddie, made two trips from Georgia to be with his mom. He was there to assist Betty in helping me get adjusted to some new home conditions.
I never knew the sun could feel so good, even with a little nip in the air. They say I won't be doing too much for a couple months. I hope you don't mind if I just lay around for a while. I did lose about 15 lbs. Please continue to pray for continued healing and for Yankee Arnold Ministries to continue the radio ministry.
