Christ did not believe in Calvinism

If Calvinism was only about believing in Eternal Security it would not be a serious problem, but when it is preached that God predetermines what particular person would be saved, pays only for his sins, gives him the faith to believe, and then guaranteed that he will automatically mature in the Lord and persevere in the faith until death; then it is a wicked teaching from beginning to end. It is a complete mutilation of the Word of God by causing the love of God to be limited, the blood of Christ to be limited, the payment to be limited, and the offer of Eternal Life to be limited.   This hemorrhaging has drained the churches of their life and power. When under the guise of intellectual superiority, they have severed the truth of the gospel from its life giving power to save.

CALVINISM IS DESTROYED BY A PARABLE

The following simple acrostic (TULIP) is the classic reformed five-point Calvinist viewpoint.

TEXT: Mat 13:3-9

Was the soil predetermined by God? No!, the soil (stony, thorny, or good) is determined by the belief of EVIDENCE revealed (light-truth-creation-God).

John 1:9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 1:10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Luke_12:48  ...For unto whomsoever much is given, (the greater the LIGHT) of him shall be much required: (the greater the responsibility) and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Matt 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Matt 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to KNOW the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. (WHY? WHY? WHY? IT’S NOT FAIR)

Matt 13:12  For whosoever hath, (LIGHT) to him shall be given, (more LIGHT) and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, (rejects LIGHT) from him shall be taken away even that he hath. (LIGHT or EVIDENCE to believe)

Mark 4:23  If any man have ears to hear, (wants to KNOW) let him hear.

Mark 4:24  And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear (UNDERSTANDS what you KNOW) shall more be given. (more truth-light)

The Purpose of the Parable: To give light to those who want to know truth (receive light).

Matt 13:11-14

Matt 13:15  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Matt 13:16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

The Parable is Explained:

Matt 13:18-23  Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

Matt 13:37  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

Matt 13:38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

JESUS DESTROYS THE TEACHING OF CALVINISM

Matt 13:13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. (The choice to not hear or see was their choice, not God’s)

Matt 13:14  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: Matt 13:15  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (It was the will of God to save them, the good seed was sown to them, they chose not to believe).

FOUR TYPES OF SOIL
1.      The birds (Devil) gets the seed before the person understands and accepts it as truth because of their own previous rejection of light. “…lest they should believe and be saved.”  (LOST) (Luke 8:12)

2.      Three soils that receive the seeds as truth: (BELIEVE AND SAVED)

a.      Stony ground They on the rock …receive the word … for a while believe,” (Luke 8:13)

b.      Seeds among the thorns “…which fell among thorns…bring no fruit to perfection.” (Luke 8:14)

c.       Seeds that fall on good grounds “…heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit” (Luke 8:15)

The Parable as Applied to sound Doctrine:

1.      The seed was to be cast to everyone (The results reveals the condition of their minds)

a.      The first did not understand (seeds by the wayside-no desire-don’t care)

b.      The second understood and received it immediately with Joy, but was easily offended because he had no roots (did not grow to maturity- remains as “Babe” in Christ).

c.       The third understood and received it but had no fruit because he was entangled with the cares of this world. The weeds (deceitfulness of riches) choked the word.

d.      The fourth heareth the word, and understandeth it; and also beareth fruit,

2.      Choices were made by the people –not God

Each of the last three (c., b., and d.,) received the Word, believed the Word, and were saved.

Each person determines his own type of soil.

The sower did not predetermine the soil (person) to believe

Not all believers will mature in the Lord (some will remain babes in Christ)

Not all believers will be faithful (Many will be offended to serve the Lord)

Not all believers will persevere in the faith ( Many will be caught up in the things of the world).

Not all believers will be fruitful.

T stands for the....Total depravity of man……Man May Choose To Hear, See, & Believe

U stands for..........Unconditional election……Anyone May Choses To Believe

L stands for..........Limited atonement………..The Seed Was Sown To All Soils

I stands for...........Irresistible grace and……...All Could Have, But Many Chose Not To

P stands for the.....Perseverance of the saints...Many Did Not Reach Maturity Or

   Persevere In The Faith

Pictures and more Pictures

There's is nothing like having a great time of fellowship with missionaries. Dr. Tom Cucuzza was injured two days before our Missions Conference. Tom's position on the clarity of the Gospel was a great complement to our ministry.

This is one of the two ladies' Bible studies. They are the
backbones of their husbands.

Frances on the left and Brenda on the right were two of the teenagers in one of my camps back in the early 80's. So wonderful to see them and know they still love and are serving the Lord.
Sita (left) is from Trinidad and invited Peter Amato and I to come to her house on a Saturday to sing, eat, and witness to her neighbors. Three trusted the Lord.

Greg Stier of Dare2Share ministries sent me this picture of someone who was reading my book on the
"Gospel Driven Man"

My granddaughter Melanie Mech shot a 12 point deer on my property in Ga.

These men and women provided special music.

Why I use the King James Version

"WHY I USE THE KING JAMES VERSION"
by Dr. Ralph "Yankee" Arnold

Over the years, I have been mocked and ridiculed for still using the KJV. Even though I have used it for over 57 years, I caught a lot of flak for requiring our Florida Bible College of Tampa to use the KJV by all teachers and students. Each one of these four messages are different and contains vital information on why not to use any of the modern translation. Each message is done with Power Point Presentation that makes it easier to follow and understand. All objections cannot be covered in one message. Let me encourage you to at least give it a fair hearing before rendering a judgment. I pray they will be a blessing to you. Feel free to share with others.

UNDERSTANDING REPENTANCE
by Dr. Ralph "Yankee" Arnold

May the Lord have mercy on those who tell a lost man that he must turn from sin(s) to be saved. They do not get it from the word repent. That would teach works for salvation. A persons eternal destination depends on getting the gospel right. No man has ever been saved, is being saved, or will ever be saved by promising to quit, turn, or stop his sins whether temporary or forever.

To receive a clear understanding of repentance, please watch both videos of the Old and the New Testament. The notes are provided for both messages. All scriptures are KJV.
REPENTANCE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

By Dr. Ralph “Yankee” Arnold

THIS MESSAGE IS DESIGNED TO PROVE THAT REPENTANCE DOES NOT MEAN

TURN FROM YOUR SINS TO BE SAVED FROM HELL, OR TO GO TO HEAVEN.

TEXT:   Deut. 11:26  Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

Deu 11:27  A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

Deu 11:28  And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

THE LORD REPENTED ABOUT DESTROYING ISRAEL AS A NATION

1.      Exo 32:11  And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

Exo 32:12  Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

Exo 32:13  Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

Exo 32:14  And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

THE LORD DOES NOT REPENT OF SINS

2.      Num 23:19  God is not a man, that he should lie (SIN); neither the son of man, that he should repent (of a SIN): hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

WHY GOD REPENTS OF EVIL AND GOOD

3.      Jer 18:8  If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

Jer 18:9  And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

Jer 18:10  If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

WHY GOD WANTS TO REPENT

4.      Jer 26:3  If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

Jer 26:4  And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,

Jer 26:5  To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;

Jer 26:6  Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

WHY TURNING FROM SIN IS WORKS

5.      Jon 3:4  And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

Jon 3:5  So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

Jon 3:6  For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

Jon 3:7  And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

Jon 3:8  But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

Jon 3:9  Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

Jon 3:10  And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

WHY GOD DID NOT REPENT

6.      Zec 8:13  And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

Zec 8:14  For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:

Zec 8:15  So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

Zec 8:16  These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

Zec 8:17  And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

THE DAY OF NO REPENTANCE

Rev 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

REPENTANCE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

By Dr. Ralph “Yankee” Arnold

THIS MESSAGE IS DESIGNED TO PROVE THAT REPENTANCE DOES NOT MEAN

TURN FROM YOUR SINS TO BE SAVED FROM HELL, OR TO GO TO HEAVEN.

TEXT:   Rev 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Notice Hebrews 12:5-7 on God chastening his children

If the Lord commands his children to repent, it becomes evident that a believer does not lose his salvation or turn from sin to stay saved.

Rev 2:4  Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Rev. 2:5  Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Acts 20:21 "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward

God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."

Webster's Scholastic Dictionary gives this meaning for "repent"- (v.i.) to feel regret for something done or left undone: to be penitant, (v.t.) to remember with self-reproach or sorrow. It also gives this definition for "repentance", act of repenting, sorrow for sin, penitence, contrition. So some preachers say that men must "turn from sin", "be willing to turn from sin", or "feel sorrow for sin" or they cannot be saved! If a man must do any of these things to be saved, then he merits his salvation by his good works.

THE BIBLICAL DEFINITION OF REPENTANCE

Metanoia and Metanoeo. These two words mean the same thing (metanoia is the noun of metanoeo). The definition of these two words is "TO CHANGE ONE'S MIND." The other Greek words: Metamellomai. It means "to regret". Ametameletos. It is translated "unregretted".

The Word "repent" is used in connection with unbelievers for salvation and believers for service. What is it that unbelievers or believers need to change their mind about? CONTEXT

MATTHEW 21:28-32 (NOTICE THE WORDS THINK)

Mat 21:28  But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

Mat 21:29  He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

Mat 21:30  And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

Mat 21:31  Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Mat 21:32  For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. (You don’t turn from sin in order to believe.)

SO WHAT DOES "REPENT" MEAN IN ACTS 20:21?

"Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Yes, you must change your mind toward God! You must no longer believe that your good works are required to go to Heaven. Repentance (change of mind) is necessary for salvation. It is not another condition for salvation added to belief. Rather, it is automatically included in belief! How can you believe in Christ as your Savior unless you change your mind? The Gospel of John consistently states that a lost man must believe. Yet this same book (which is "God's Gospel Tract"), NEVER ONCE USES either the word "repent" or "repentance"! Why? When you believe, you automatically repent!

LUKE 13:1-5 ARE THE FAVORITE VERSES OF MOST EVANGELIST

They show very clearly that repentance is a thought process. "There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, SUPPOSE YE that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but except ye REPENT, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, THINK YE that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye REPENT, YE SHALL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH."

THOSE IN HELL WANT THE LOST TO REPENT

Luke also contains another passage (Luke 16:29-31), which shows that repentance is a thought process. Luk 16:30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

THE LORD WANTS THOSE WHO KILLED HIM TO REPENT

Acts 2:38 says, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Whatever a man changes his mind from or to is not included in the definition of repentance.

BELIEVERS ARE TOLD NOT TO REPENT ON THE GOSPEL. (HEBREWS 6:1)

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God".

THE LORD WANTS ALL TO COME TO REPENTANCE (II PETER 3:9)

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”. God's desire is for all men to change their minds and trust Him alone for their salvation so they will not perish.

Those, who preach that a man must turn from sin or feel sorry for sin, in order to be saved, are preaching an accursed message. (Galatians 1:8).
