FLORIDA BIBLE COLLEGE UPDATE FOR 2017

FLORIDA BIBLE COLLEGE UPDATE 2017

FALL SEMESTER IS UNDERWAY

President’s Reception
“FBC IS ON THE GROW”
Below are three of our ten new students for the fall semester. Each one enjoyed their opportunity to give their testimony over my live radio broadcast last Friday. They shared how they came to know the Lord and why they chose Florida Bible College. Anna Sanchez is from San Antonio, Texas, Allyson Adkins from Tampa, and Connor Proffitt from Arizona.

Allyson will have the honor to sing the National Anthem before the Ray’s Major League baseball game on September 5th.
Our women work hard representing the college. They keep hubbies teaching, plan the parties and teach the young ladies how to be godly women. Cindy Gilbert, Kay Myers, and Betty Arnold are three great ladies.
PERSONAL LETTER FROM AIDA SANCHEZ
1977 was such a life changing time in mine and my family’s life! The Lord brought a God fearing man by the name of Pastor Lee Patton into our home. He played such a tremendous part in bringing my family into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We were so impressed with his sincere love and caring heart he had for us and anyone for that matter who needed Jesus! He is the Founder of Faith Bible church in San Antonio, Texas.  As time passed we attended Faith bible Church and became involved and grew spiritually.  Pastor Lee Patton and his Amazing wife, Irene, were greatly used of God to influence many individuals. The youth ministry (referred to as “Youth Ranch”) was the area that the Lord used in my life at the time. Later, Lee Patton introduced many of us high school students to a gentleman named Ralph “Yankee” Arnold, a close friend, who also attended Florida Bible College. “Yankee” at the time had a church, Christian School and college in Arvada, Colorado. In time, just watching and being a part of the wonderful work of God, I saw how He brought the youth from Lee Patton’s church and Yankee’s church together, through “Winter Camps“ in Colorado. These camps led me and several others to attend Colorado Bible College! This is where it all began for me and many others who attended. Little did we know of the amazing Journey that was about to begin!
Attending Colorado Bible College was one of the best decisions I ever made after trusting Christ as my Savior! I was only 18 years old and fresh out of high school. My parents were both believers and supported me fully in making this decision. The lessons I learned were priceless!  Pastor Ralph Arnold who was the President of the college and his amazing faculty played such a major role in my life. From the classes I attended, such as Personal Evangelism, Bible Doctrines, and Prophecy, working on the bus routes and in youth ministries, I gained strong godly character, self-discipline and dying to my own wants in order to see God be glorified.
Now 37 years later ,my daughter Anna (who is also 18), is taking that big step herself with the same excitement and vision In attending  Florida Bible College in Tampa, Florida from her home in San Antonio, Texas. I am so grateful to the Lord for her desire to grow spiritually. She will be taking the same classes I took and involved in the similar ministries I was in! I am so looking forward to encouraging her and walking with her through this new journey that I believe will produce GREAT rewards!  My prayer for her is in Colossians 1:9-14.
May the Lord continue to use Florida Bible College in Tampa to build strong disciples who are rock solid in biblical foundations and boldness in sharing the simplicity of the Gospel to a lost and dying world!
The Lord Richly Bless you Pastor Ralph Arnold as you have blessed my family and I Know many others all around the world!
Sincerely,
Aida Sanchez

Appreciation letter from Dr. Ron Seecharan

August 19,2O17

Dear Dr. Yankee Arnold,

Greetings to you, your wife, Betty, and all the saints at Calvary Community Church, in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Just a few lines to let you know how much we appreciate your prayers and support to Solid Rock International Ministries and Solid Rock Theological Seminary in India. Your support helps us in the great work of training men for the ministry.

So far, ln India, we have had 27 graduating classes with 603 graduates who are now serving the Lord throughout India, Burma and Nepal. These men are clear on the gospel and they are impacting thousands weekly with a clear gospel.

ln our extension seminaries in Trinidad, West Indies, Guyana, South America and St. Lucia in the Caribbean, we have had 130 who have earned their degrees in Theology and are serving the Lord there.

We remember when you and your wife, Betty, and Rev. Bob Gilbert visited us at our resident seminary in India in 2015 for our 25th commencement service. What a joy on the face of your wife, Betty, as she shared the gospel to hundreds of young boys and girls in the Sunday school after you preached the Word. We also remember Brother Bob and the wonderful ordination prayer he gave at our 25th graduation service as we ordained 8 of our graduates who were going full time into ministry.

Dr. Ron Seecharan, Bob Gilbert, Betty and Yankee Arnold

Dr. Yankee, I have known you for over 50 years when we were students at the old FBC campus at Grove Community in Miami, Florida. I thank the Lord for you and your faithfulness to Him, your clarity on the gospel and the fundamentals of the faith. You have lived by the book I can't wait to see what our spiritual family tree will be like at the judgment seat of Christ. (II Cor. 5:10)

I thank the Lord that you are now the president of Florida Bible College in Tampa. I also thank the Lord for the wonderful faculty that he has given to you to train and equip young men and women for full time gospel ministry. I highly recommend FBC and pray that many new students will enroll and attend in your new academic year. My wife Shireen and I look forward to visiting with you at a later date and sharing what God is doing in our ministry.
Yours for making Christ known

Dr. Ron R.Seecharan

Immediately following the Sunday evening service on August 27th, our President's Reception will be a great time of meeting people and renewing old friendships.  Food is a part of it - all are expected to attend.  (Church attire).

Last week, Betty and I were having breakfast at Nickie's Restaurant, (few blocks from Calvary Community Church in Tampa) when Florida Governor, Rick Scott came in with a number of his friends. He came over to my table and we chatted very briefly. He asked about our church so I presented him with our gospel clear Heaven Tract. He was very kind and polite. He is truly a great governor doing a wonderful job for our state. Great way to start the day. Pray for our leaders, and especially President Donald Trump. The only thing he did wrong to the Democrats, the Lefties,  and the entrenched RINO Republicans was to win the election. He's guilty. That is his crime for which there is no forgiveness. Pray for him.

Evangelist Freddie Coile

Freddie is an FBC grad whose messages are powerful, truthful, doctrinal, and spiritually convicting. I have no reservations in recommending him to any church as a man of God  who is well versed in the scriptures.

Dr. Charlie Bing of Grace-Life Ministries

Dr. Charlie Bing is being used by the Lord to not only reach the lost but to disciple many pastors around the globe on the clarity of the gospel. He has preached the gospel to over 10,000 people and he helped train at least 2,000 pastors and church workers to contend for the faith

Bruce and Jackie Campbell Missionary -- Thailand

Pastor Matt Floyd is Planting a New Church  in Florida City, Florida

Matt is a graduate of Dayspring Bible College that was founded by Dr. James Scudder. Matt is the son of Mike Floyd who was head of the college for many years and a graduate of Florida Bible College. Matt started a new church called Calvary Baptist Church. Matt and I joined with Dr. Ron Seecharan in India to speak at the Solid Rock Theological Seminary.
Dr. Ron Seecharan is one of the great missionaries from Florida Bible College to the people of India. His Bible Institute has trained over 500 graduates. We are proud to support works like this.
100% of all mission giving is used for meeting the needs of our missionaries. Would you like to have a part?

We believe that supporting Florida Bible College of Tampa will help produce more missionaries on the clarity of the Gospel. We want to take this opportunity to invite all the Florida Bible College Alumni to attend and partner with us in the World's Greatest Challenge of winning souls by supporting missions.

Greg Sirmons is also a graduate of Florida Bible College and has been serving in France for many years. We should not forget those who have gone to foreign countries to serve the Lord.
Joe and Terri Potter are Florida Bible College graduates and served many years in South America. They are back in America stirring up disciples for the Lord's work.
It will certainly be a blessing to have a "STAR" missionary like Mark and Terry Barnes to also attend and speak for us this year.
January 1985 to March 2006
Missionaries to Papua New Guinea, Mission school teachers at Numonohi Christian Academy, and Bible Teacher / Mentor / Discipleship
August 2006 to present serving as the West Florida Representatives for New Tribes Mission

Everyone is invited to attend.

Meals will be provided on Sunday morning and Monday-Wednesday evening. If you are planning on dining with us (at no charge), please call the church office at 813-884-4328 so we may better serve you.

Rev. Richard Haynes was definitely a "Man on a Mission". Dick graduated from Florida Bible College and although he didn't cross the ocean to be a missionary, he, without a doubt, was a missionary with a heart. One of his last heroic acts was driving teenagers to Georgia Camp while he was half dead. Dick did not know how to slow down, take it easy, or stop. God bless his wonderful testimony.

Let's keep running the race until there is nothing left to give.
