The Pink Elephant of Islam

 The Pink Elephant of Islam
by
  Dr. Ralph “Yankee” Arnold

Remember the duties of our Government:
Text:    Rom. 13: 1-7

  •     God created government

  •     Government is a deterrent to evil

  •     Evil is the cause of Terror

  •     Government is to punish those who do evil to its citizens

  •     The use of religious beliefs are not justification to do evil (religion is not mention)

Those who serve are ministers of God / therefore Christians may serve  in government
 I Peter 2:13-14

  •     Punishment is for evil doers

  •     Nothing in these scriptures excuses anyone on the basis of their religion

I am totally responsible for the content of this message. This open letter in no way minimizes my love and deeply held concerns for the eternal salvation of those who are and have been blinded by the religion of Islam.

The president, the Democratic and Republican parties, and the majority of Americans have all refused to truly identify the pink elephant of the “WAR on TERROR”. We will not and cannot win this war unless we truly understand where the real enemies are coming from. How many times have we been told that the TERRORISTS have hi-jacked a peaceful religion, and that they are simply extremists within the religion of Islam?

I fully understand that peaceful nations and those who are running for political office may want to showcase their peaceful and compassionate sides by publicly avoiding any action that would label them as hate mongers of another person’s religion for fear of offending any truly innocent people who mean no harm.

Many have had serious trouble discerning President Obama’s attitude, words, and actions, and that has led to an unreasonable decision to label these murderers as “Terror Extremists”, but never “Islamic Extremists-Jihadists”. He is either naive and stupid or very cunning and brilliant.  His actions make no sense unless he really is a Muslim.  If we pretend for a moment that he is, then everything he says and does makes perfect sense.(This is my suspicion only)

I have discovered the weapon of mass destruction. It is right now in America and is exploding across our land. This weapon has brought down over 50 countries around the world, and is seeking to bring the rest of the world to its knees. It has not been done by nuclear, chemical, or biological warfare, but by the ideology that is found in the Koran. The Koran is the weapon of mass destruction, and many Muslims are willing to die to accomplish its goals.

America was founded upon the belief that there is only one God and his name is Jehovah--the God of Israel. America established her three branches of government from the Bible, the only Word of God, in Isa 33:22. “For the LORD IS our judge, (our Supreme Court Branch) the LORD IS our lawgiver,(our Legislative Branch) the LORD IS our King (our Executive Branch) He will save us.” There are no references made to Allah, the Koran, or to Muhammed in any of our founding documents, or etched into our national monuments. But there are much that reference Jehovah, Moses, and the Bible.

If Jehovah is God------------    Allah is not
If the Bible is Divine--------    The Koran is not
If Christianity is true---------    Islam is not

Islam is founded upon a god – Allah-- that does not exist. There is no god named Allah. Allah is not another name that is compatible with the God of Israel. Jehovah had a son named Jesus Christ. The Koran states that Allah has no son. The religion of Islam offers no love, salvation, grace or mercy. It offers no guarantee of Heaven or escape from Hell. There is no guaranteed offer of a better life.

The Koran is not a holy (divine) book, but a war manual on how to conquer the world. No Muslim can produce evidence of the Koran being anything other than a man-made book. Allah is not God, and the religion of Islam is not a peaceful religion, but one gigantic terrorist network to overthrow every nation on earth. Every Imam (prayer leader) prepares Muslims in their Islamic ideology for future terrorist activities. Every mosque is an ISIS or al-Qaeda cell.

If I could say a word to Muslim mothers:

I plead with every Muslim mother to look at the results of Islam and see if the Koran truly teaches children to hate the Jew, Christian, and all infidels. Why do Muslim mothers want to leave Muslim countries if the Muslim religion is so wonderful, loving, and peaceful?  Studying the Koran causes one to believe in the religion of Islam. The person who believes in the religion of Islam becomes a Muslim. Islam is what makes a Muslim country.

We admire the immigrants from Muslim countries that want to come to America. Christianity produced this one country and Islam produced 50 plus countries. Our God is God. Christ gave us rights, love, and freedom. Why can’t Allah do for you what Jehovah has done for us? But if you bring with you the deeply held beliefs of the Koran and teach them to your children while attending the Mosque, are you not seeking to produce a country like the one you left? Would you prefer America to be a Christian country or a Muslim country? In order to preserve this as a Christian country, are you willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior? Will you believe that Jehovah (as the only true and living God) loves you and sent his son, Jesus Christ, to pay for your sins? When you believe on Christ alone for salvation, you receive the mercy of God (guarantee to escape Hell) that Allah does not offer, and you receive Heaven by grace (not by good works or killing someone, but to show you how much God loves you). That love is not offered by Allah. Don’t you desire something better? Don’t you see that it is the belief in the Koran that is the foundation for producing TERRORISTS?

Here are my humble suggestions for every Muslim that claims to love America and her freedoms, and wants to see her stay that way. They either MUST CHANGE THEIR BELIEFS or try to change ours. Our differences are incompatible and are on a collision course. Are they willing to destroy our country in order to make it like the one from which they fled?

  • Since the Koran is not a divine book and teaches a Muslim to hate the Christian, Jew, and Israel, I suggest they no longer believe the Koran or teach it to their children.

  • Since Mohammed is not truly a prophet of Jehovah (there is no other God) and no Iman speaks for Jehovah, I suggest they no longer attend or send their children to a mosque.

  • America was founded upon the Judeo-Christian belief in Jehovah and love for Israel. I suggest they no longer demonstrate a hatred for Israel but a desire for their protection and blessings.

  • Since our two belief systems are not compatible and cannot co-exist, I’m sure they must realize that we are on a collision course of ideologies that can only be solved by bloodshed.

  • Since we will not adopt their belief system, we are only left to conclude that they are not really here for peaceful purposes, but to eventually use whatever force is necessary to overthrow this country.

They can look around the world and see the countries that follow the Koran. Is this what they have in mind for us? I conclude that if they are here peacefully, they must lay down their weapons (the Koran) and close all mosques now.

WARNING FROM JEHOVAH !!
2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The world is being lulled into a false security in allowing the so-called peaceful religion of Islam into their countries. When the seed bed of destruction has materialized and the Muslims of that country have deemed that the host country is ripe for takeover, they gather their strength for an all-out offensive against the civilian populations by wars of violence and political intimidation.

We need to stop saying what the terrorists are doing, and start saying what Muslims are doing because of the religion of Islam. It is the religion of Islam has declared war on America. America must declare war on the religion of Islam. So called peaceful Muslims infiltrate the land and lay the groundwork for the Jihadists to wage their war. But do not be deceived. The peaceful Muslims are as much a part of the overall plan for world domination as the so-called Islamic extremist.  These enemies of all that is good and righteous can kill innocent women and children without mercy and shame. They have stated time and time again that their great goal is the subjugation of the entire world to the civil laws, totalitarian political forms, and cultural norms dictated by their religion. This requires the destruction of all other religions, especially Christianity and Judaism. And throughout history, whenever they had the political means to suppress other religions, they did so with religious zeal.

If we do not defeat Islam now, it will defeat us later. Ask yourself this question: “Do I want my children or grandchildren to live under the heel of Islamic terrorism?” I am so sorry that the god of this world has blinded the minds of so many hurting people in the religion of Islam to the true love that Jehovah has for them.

The Muslim threat to the peace and security of America is as real as it gets. If God does not intervene, the day will come when a mushroom cloud will appear over a major American city signaling death and destruction unparalleled in U.S. history. The apostle Paul warned us that if the trumpet is not blown loud and clear, the people will not prepare for war (1 Corinthians 14:8). Ezekiel tells us that we are watchmen who have the responsibility to warn the city of an approaching army of death and destruction. If we fail to warn people of the coming war with Islam, their blood will be on our hands (Ezekiel 33:1-6).

Islam constitutes a clear and present danger to the peace of the world. Islam has the will and the desire to destroy us and they have the means to do so unless they are stopped. No true Muslim that really believes the Koran can honor the U.S. Constitution. The ultimate goal of the religion of Islam is to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Koran.

If the Muslim nations around the world desire the extermination of the nation of Israel in general and all Jews in particular, why are they here in America when they know that America is Israel’s greatest protector and Islam’s greatest enemy?

Why would we go around the world to fight the religion of Islam only to give them free access to cross our country’s borders? We allow them the right to bring their war manual (Koran) into the United States, build their mosques, come into our public schools to teach our children the Islamic faith, vote in our elections, all the while knowing their professed ultimate intention is to bring down America.

I am not preaching or telling anyone to hate any person. I’m telling you about their hate of our God, America, of Christians, of Jews and of Israel. Just because I know the future of this world as recorded in the Bible, does not remove my responsibility to do all the right I can while resisting evil in this world.

Terrorists don’t have to come here from other countries when they can be produced right here. The only way a Muslim can practice his faith is to take away ours. Look at the wars that are fought around the world. The majority of them are Muslims trying to overthrow some country they did not previously own. Why do you suppose that over 50 nations are now practicing Muslims? Do you think the people of these countries were won by the beauty of Islam, or was it by the murdering of the opposition?

  • The Qur’an (Koran) commands its followers to launch jihads or holy wars of conquest to force conversions to Islam.

  • Fight and slay the unbelievers wherever they find them; seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war. (Surah IX:5)

  • Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day, or hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and his apostle, or acknowledge the Religion of Truth (i.e. Islam), (even if they are people of the Book), until they pay the tax with willing submission and feel themselves subdued. (Surah IX:29)

  • Seize them and slay them wherever you find them. (Surah IV:89,91)

The killing of innocent men, women, and children in the name of Islam becomes a thing of praise and a badge of honor. The goal of government is to protect its citizens. The goal of Christianity is to share God’s love to everyone through the gospel. We desire a strong government to preserve our freedoms so that we (the believers) can continue to be the salt and light to all the world-yes, every person.

Please read and believe

A Tribute to the Memory of Dr. Curtis Hutson

DR. Curtis Hutson was a
"Gospel Driven Man"

Last week I received my copy of the Sword of the Lord. Within the Sword was a tribute to Dr. John R. Rice and Dr. Curtis Hutson. Boy did that take me back when I used to hear both of these men. Dr. Shelton Smith continues to uphold the Gospel of Grace.

Dr. Hutson was truly committed to the Truth of the Gospel. He took a stand even when he knew many of the brethren would take issue with him. He believed that salvation was free (grace) and not by works. He believed that a person had only to believe Christ died for their sins, rose again and trust Him alone as their only hope of Eternal Life. He believed that repentance was required for anyone to be saved. Repent meant to change your mind about saving yourself by your works (repentance from dead works Heb. 6:1) and simply trust Christ alone. He strongly believed that Christians (ones that are saved) should allow the Lord to be the master of their lives because they are saved, but not to be saved, stay saved, or to prove one is saved. Dr. Hutson printed thousands of booklets on the issue of Repentance and Lordship Salvation to help people understand how many good men have mingled (muddied) works into the Gospel of Grace. Dr. Hutson was a Gospel Driven Man. He was a master at weaving the gospel into his messages. He faithfully crafted the presentation of this message where either a little child or the most educated person could understand.

My great surprise
One year I was preaching at the Faith Bible Church for Pastor Lee Patton. Brother Dwayne Nichols of  the Liberty Baptist Church in San Antonio had brought his children from Liberty Baptist School for the meetings. I knew I had to keep the message simple for the little ones to understand. Little did I know that Dr. Hutson was in the pastor’s study listening to the message. I went home to Georgia to have a Surprise Sunday for our church. Dr. Hutson had received a copy of the message, called my wife and got a picture, and told her not to say a word to me. Saturday, I went to the mailbox and received my copy of the Sword of the Lord. I opened it and there on the front page was my picture and the message, “The Clarity of the Gospel”. What a surprise! What an honor! Four months later he wrote me that 43 people had read the message in the month of August and trusted the Lord. It's strange that a message that was designed for children was used to reach adults around the world.

HERE IS THAT LETTER THAT I WILL CHERISH ALWAYS.

"Flame" in the Wind
A Tribute to Dr. Curtis Hutson
By Ralph "Yankee" Arnold
What went ye out to see,
A reed shaken by the wind?
Not this man from Tennessee,
To the Spirit only would he bend.

O’ my friend, what went ye out to hear?
The Gospel of Grace made crystal clear?
Salvation by grace, tis the gift of God.
Rewards are earned, but rebellion the rod.

The eyes of God ran to and fro,
Seeking a man with a heart of "fire".
A burning passion to reach the lost,
And make this "blaze" the saints’ desire.

The Flame has died down,
But sparks shot up to descend.
Blown upon by the breath of God,
To produce more "Flames" in the wind.

The Sword of the Lord
was the power of the pen,
and Dr. Curtis Hutson was
the "Flame" in the Wind.

A living sacrifice on the altar was laid.
"Hot Coals" from the altar and Revivals were made.
O’ Lord, this offering was burnt up for Thee.
His reward shall be great, but his salvation was free.

A FRIENDLY ROUND OF GOLF

On several occasions, Dr. Hutson asked me to stop by the Sword of the Lord office in Murfreesboro to see if he would be able to join me in a friendly game of golf. We had casually talked about our golf game at various meetings and thought it would be great to play. Betty and I rented a motel room for the night, and toured the Sword the next morning with Dr. Hutson. About noon we decided to go at it. I left Betty at the motel and we headed to the course. I figured we would play a few holes and I would be on my way. Dr. Hutson said, “Since we did don't have time to warm-up, let's just take pars on the first 4 holes.” I thought, "he is 8 years older than I am", so this should be a breeze. Little did I know that this man not only knew the Bible, but he knew how to play golf. He played like a pro. He proceeded to give me a few lessons. Fifty-four holes later we walked off the course. On my second trip I had a strong determination to beat him. We played 18, then 36, then 48 holes. I had him by a stroke but he wouldn’t quit. It became so dark that I told Dr. Hutson, “We have to stop, I can’t see the ball.” The next hole he beat me by two strokes and said, “I guess we should stop.”

A Message to Florida Bible College Alumni - from Yankee Arnold

A Message to the Florida Bible College Alumni

Dear Alumni of Florida Bible College,

In 1975, I was asked by the producers of the "5th Page Momentum" to write what I thought would be a helpful challenge to the students that were presently attending Florida Bible College.
Some alumni attended FBC in Miami, some in Hollywood, some would in Kissimmee, and one day perhaps there will be alumni from Tampa and Orlando. Regardless of the locations, there was overlapping of teachers and students from all locations that bound, and bind, them all together.
Although I gave this charge to the students (now alumni) 40 years ago, I believe it is still pertinent for the alumni today. I found this copy, and pray that it serves again as a reminder of our commitment to the defense of the gospel.

5th page Momentum

Dr. Ralph “Yankee” Arnold

"SET FOR THE DEFENSE OF THE GOSPEL"

"In all thy getting, get the message and in all thy giving, give the message.”

Dear Students of FBC,

I graduated from FBC in May of 1968. I’m proud to say I am a graduate of the college that is the GREATEST DEFENDER of the GOSPEL the world has ever known. While attending school I gained a lot of things: friends, methods, a wealth of Bible knowledge - all unmatched by what might be gained from any other school, and lots of love and understanding from my teachers.  But the greatest thing in all my getting was the art of presenting the gospel to lost people.

The voice of the greatest orator in the world is useless to the Lord without proclaiming the greatest message in the world. The greatest message in the world will lie dormant without a voice to proclaim it. It has been seven years since I graduated. Many friends have changed, many methods have been tried and discarded, but the message never needs to be altered.

While at school or when you leave, remember in all thy giving to give the gospel. Many preachers today are faithful in giving the invitation but not the gospel; they are faithful in preaching the Bible, and think that makes them a gospel preaching church.

I believe that to defend the gospel means to DEFEND the Gospel:

1) If you do not defend it, you don’t love it;
2) If you’re not ashamed of it, you won’t change it;
3) If you’ve got confidence in it, you will give it.

“The only way to keep the faith is to give it away.”

Students, when you leave school, your biggest battle will be the way in which you defend this message. Keep in mind, it will be Christians and not lost people that will influence you the most.

THINGS TO WATCH FOR:

1) When you leave school you leave with an extra set of eyes, and you will see things others cannot see. If a man is blind and you give him sight, he may look at flowers, sun, trees, or all sorts of beautiful things; or he may look at dirt, garbage, or all things that are wrong in this world. If he points out the dirt, people may say he's being critical, but before he received sight he couldn't tell the difference. You have been given sight as to what is a clear message and what is a muddy message.

DO NOT CONDEMN YOURSELF AS BEING CRITICAL WHEN YOU CAN DETECT ERROR IN A MAN’S MESSAGE, BUT BE THANKFUL YOU HAVE SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT.

2) Be careful in working with people whose message is not as clear. Be careful in joining hands with a blind man. Muddy water Mixed with a glass of clear water will affect the clear water. Don't make the mistake of saying "he doesn't present the gospel as clear as we do, but .... "
There are three dangers in working with people whose messages are not clear:

        A.    You will be tempted to compromise by not speaking out on terms you know are doctrinally wrong, speakers and programs you know are wrong, literature you know is wrong, and standards that are not according to your convictions.

        B.    You must try to change the people to think the way you do. (This is about as bad as trying to change a person after marriage.)

        C. If you do not compromise, (and you are being trained to not compromise) and if you do not change them, the only alternative result is that eventually you will either split that work, or have to leave.

"If we do not keep fighting for a clear message we will lose it.”

Remember: The lost man cannot fight for a clear message.

3) No method is worth your message. The end does not justify the means. Seek to weigh all methods in reaching people, keeping people, training people and using (but not misusing) people, by the effect it will have on people's attitude toward the gospel.

"Your biggest challenge is to reach the lost world; your biggest potential error would be trying to change the Christian world.”

While you are at school - GET SET!

An Opportunity
We have been privileged to use, as our student dorm facility, suites at the Mainsail Suites Conference Center and Resort, very conveniently located just up the street, at the intersection of George Road and Hillsborough Avenue.  This resort consists of mainly two-bedroom, two bath suites with a full living room, dining room, kitchen, washer and dryer, entrance hall, and outdoor porch – all in a gated, secure facility, literally within easy walking distance from our classroom campus.  These units are roomy enough that two of our students can occupy each of the two bedrooms, comfortably.

In our first year, our out-of-town students shared one of these suites.  We had favorable treatment from the Mainsail management, who are believers, and were allowed a favorable rate with a lease running exactly from the date desired to the date desired by us.

In this, our second year, we  leased TWO suites, near each other but on separate floors, one for our guys, the other for our young ladies.

As good as this arrangement is, the students are NOT able to pay our published rates for the dorms – we would be very comfortable if they could, but the $550/month per student is just not feasible.
We must look forward to paying Mainsail $1,235 per month for each suite.  If we have four guys, and four girls, we can charge each of them $315, and break even.  If we have three guys, or three girls, we can charge $415, and get by.  But we may have fewer than a multiple of four or three, and we cannot expect the students to come with great stores of money for housing, as well as for tuition.

We think some of you might have the means and the desire to SPONSOR a portion of these dorm rooms, so that when we charge our students a “Fair” portion of the rent, we have the funds to make up the difference.

Thank you for considering this opportunity.

You may give by check to Florida Bible College of Tampa, 4811 George Road, Tampa, FL  33634, or by credit or debit card via PayPal on the website www.FloridaBibleCollege.us.  Florida Bible College of Tampa has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit charitable organization under section 501.C.3; all gifts may be claimed by the donor as deductions on the federal income tax return.

Testimony of Jesse Martinez

In the summer of 2011 I attended Camp Grace, with Dr. Ralph “Yankee” Arnold. I was just married and about a year out of high school. I had plans for my life but there was a void, something missing. Something was not right about the life I was living. I had been in church all my life, and trusted Christ when I was ten or twelve years old. I believed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I had dedicated my life several times, but the flame had always dwindled.

But this camp was different. I met a group of singers from Chicago and all of them were serving the Lord. They were happy with what they had, although it was little. They were satisfied to be serving God where they were. They also attended Bible College.

This impressed me immensely. How was I, a newlywed, supposed to lead my family in the right direction without having a deeper understanding of God’s Word? How could I know what the will of God is for my life if I did not know what the Word of God said? After a long discussion, my wife and I decided to pursue Bible College -- in Chicago.

Our families were shocked. Chicago is not exactly a close location to Tampa, Florida! No one understood why we could not do something online or just do more in-depth studies on our own. I believed God wanted me to get an education in His word. There were many nights that my wife and I would feel empty and unsure of our decisions. But we pressed forward. We did not renew the lease at our apartment, and moved in with her mom in anticipation of heading for Chicago in August, 2012.

Then we saw God working. We changed how we were praying about our decision. Instead of asking the Lord to show us how Chicago would work out, we asked Him to help us properly discern what His will was. We were limiting God by thinking Chicago was the only way to get success. So we prayed for his will to be shown. Opportunities began to open up. I was asked to serve as a deacon at Calvary Community Church. We started serving in ministries where we were. Then out of what seemed like thin air, Florida Bible College of Tampa was announced. I remember exactly where I was in the church. My eyes welled with tears of joy! The Lord had not only shown us our way, but also gave us the opportunity to continue serving in Tampa! We were over joyed!

Florida Bible College is not the only college on the map that teaches Bible. However, it is unique in its focus on the clear gospel and its emphasis on getting that same gospel out to a lost and dying world. For my wife and I, it is truly an answer to many nights of prayer. We don’t know what’s next, but we are both glad to be a part of Florida Bible College of Tampa.

FBC of Tampa's Online Vision - Dean Peter Amato

When the Lord told the disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, do you think the Lord knew the power and reach of the Internet? Of course, He did, but His disciples surely didn’t.

The future of education is moving to the Internet, and FBC of Tampa stands ready to compete! We are poised to meet the need for sound Bible teaching that is accessible outside of traditional means. Through the donations of faithful FBC alumni, state of the art equipment and software have been purchased, positioning our online division to be competitive with the very best in the industry.

Also, the FBC of Tampa Online vision is not limited to the Tampa market, but reaches out to all the world. All too frequently we must turn away foreign students because they are unable to obtain a student visa. But through God’s provision, it shall be a near future reality to have classes presented in Spanish, Russian, Hindi, and other languages. No longer will we have to turn away foreign students, and they will be able to learn in their native languages.

FBC of Tampa is primed to perform the Great Commission to its fullest dimension: to take the Gospel, and training for the Gospel ministry, into all the world!
