Yankee and Jesse goes to Trinidad Jan 2020

After receiving an invitation from Dr. Birbal Boodram to minister in Trinidad for their Theological Seminary for a week, Jesse Martinez and I enjoyed our missionary journey last week. 

Dear Calvary Community Church,

We want to thank you for sending your pastor Dr. Ralph Arnold to teach Soul Winning and Pastor Jesse Martinez who taught Spiritual life in Our Solid Rock Theological Extension Seminary on January 27- 31, 2020.
They have been an asset and encouragement to our Students. We had about 55 students took classes, and all were very successful in their end of the class test.
Many pastors and leaders who attended class, they went back to their churches and are teaching a clear gospel message. Salvation is by grace alone by faith alone in Christ alone and are eternally secured in Christ.

Birbal (on left) graduated from Florida Bible College in the early 70's and went back to his hometown in Trinidad and began a work for the Lord. He started a Youth Ranch (teenage Bible study), then a church, and now operates the Trinidad Bible Institute and an extension of the Solid Rock Theological Seminary. He led Dr. Gangaram Samaroo (right) to the Lord, trained him and now he is used of the Lord to help lead this great ministry.

This is my third trip to teach, but a first for Jesse. Jesse is a graduate of Florida Bible College in Tampa and did us proud. Many others have also shared in this ministry of training of nationals for the glory of the Lord. Others include men such as  these FBC Graduates & Solid Rock Theological Seminary  teachers: Dr. Ron Seecharan, Dr. Dick Seymour, Jim Sheffield,

Dr. Tom Cucuzza, Dr. Jim Scudder Sr., Jim Scudder Jr., Bob Brady, Donnie Preslar, Dr. Jerry Lloyd, Dr. Birbal Boodram, Dr. Ramesar Kallap, Dr. Gangaram Samaroo, Bill Perry (deceased), Dr. Holler , 

and Dr. David Peterson.

 Our last night was teaching, testing, fellowship and food. Great experience.

 You just have to try DOUBLES. It is the sloppiest breakfast you'll ever eat.

This new building is nearing completion. This will greatly enhance the facilities for church, classrooms, and a few student dorms. They need $15,000.00 for air-conditions and $15,000.00 for interlocking chairs for the auditorium. 

Annette, (Birbal's wife), has recovered from last year's surgery. She worked tirelessly as a great host for Jesse and me. She was the perfect preacher's wife.
