Traveling Update

Can you
believe that we are celebrating our wedding anniversaries together? Wally and
Jane Morillo are having their 53rd, and we are having our 60th.
We began with me speaking to a men’s group on Tuesday evening, Awana awards
program on Wednesday night, Christian Youth Ranch on Friday night and Morning
and evening church services on Sunday. It is always great to speak and
fellowship with someone you have known and loved for over 50 years. I have a
lot of respect for Wally and Jane for carving out a ministry down here in the
Valley.
Who would
have ever thought that two over the hill Youth Ranch Directors could still do ranch?
Wally married Jane in 1967 as a
graduate of Florida Bible College and went straight to Pharr, Texas. He started
with a wife, a bible, and a dream. It is utterly amazing that he has built a
youth program that has reached thousands through the bus, youth ranch, and camp
ministries. Steady and faithful.
Jane is
slowly healing from a recent fall that injured her shoulder. She would
appreciate your continued prayers.
Wally has
built a great church from scratch over 53 years ago and still takes kids to camp
every year.
Well, it is Monday morning and Betty and I are headed
up toward Fort Worth to see Charlie Bing.
